Profile
As counsel in our Private Client Services Group, Brittany's practice focuses on estates, trusts and related tax matters. Her practice encompasses both estate planning and estate administration, with a focus on developing thoughtful, cohesive plans that align with clients’ financial objectives and both short- and long-term personal goals.
Brittany advises high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and professionals on probate planning, income tax deferral and minimization strategies, disability planning, and philanthropic giving. Her approach is practical and solutions-oriented, with an emphasis on preserving wealth and facilitating smooth intergenerational transitions.
In her estate administration practice, Brittany advises estate trustees on their fiduciary duties and responsibilities, prepares probate applications and counsels beneficiaries on their entitlement under Wills and trusts.
With service excellence at the forefront of everything she does, Brittany invests time at the outset of new matters to gain a comprehensive understanding of clients' needs, allowing her to tailor strategic guidance and counsel depending on the circumstances.
As a testament to her expertise, Brittany is qualified as a Trust and Estate Practitioner by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners ("STEP") and holds a Certificate in Elder Law, which she obtained from Osgoode Professional Development.
