Torkin Manes is pleased to announce the promotion of seven of our lawyers – Jamie Aylward, Noah Ciglen, Vlad Mihaescu, Shreya Patel, Jennifer Siemon, George Tory and Justyna Waxman – to the partnership, effective January 1, 2026.

Known for offering practical advice in real estate and development law, Noah adeptly guides clients through challenging and multifaceted transactions. His thorough understanding of the legal landscape enables him to anticipate potential obstacles and provide clear, actionable guidance, ensuring clients feel supported at every stage.
Bringing deep expertise in business law, Vlad advises a diverse range of clients, from emerging entrepreneurs to well-established corporations. His work in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance is complemented by his proactive problem-solving and strong client relationships, making him a trusted legal advisor.
Shreya practices workplace law. She excels in providing strategic and practical guidance to unionized and non-unionized employers on a wide range of labour, employment, regulatory and other workplace issues. Shreya brings a deep understanding of the law and a practical, solutions-driven approach, making her a trusted advisor to employers on compliance and operational decision-making in complex workplace environments.
Jen advises on all aspects of commercial and construction disputes, including shareholder and partnership matters, real property issues, bonding and construction claims. She is experienced in commercial and construction lien trials and regularly appears before Judges and Associate Judges of the Superior Court of Justice. Known for exceptional client service, Jen provides clear, responsive, and results-driven guidance to achieve timely and cost-efficient results.
As a leader in corporate and commercial law, George is recognized for managing intricate transactions and conducting complex negotiations. His unwavering professionalism and commitment to client advocacy have earned him widespread respect, and his strategic counsel is instrumental to his clients’ ongoing growth and success.
Specializing in family law, Justyna assists clients through some of life’s most sensitive transitions, including divorce and parenting matters.
