Overview
Lisa Corrente and David Golden will be speaking to attendees of the Together We Care 2026 Conference on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Their session is titled, "Navigating Resident Discharges and Evictions in Your Homes."
This session will highlight legal processes and best practices for operators when dealing with resident discharges from long-term care homes and evictions from retirement homes. Operators will learn about their rights and options for navigating difficult situations involving residents, including: safety issues, interference by residents with the rights of co-residents and staff, inability to meet increasing resident care requirements, non-payment of monthly fees and other challenging scenarios.
