Torkin Manes Honours Diana Damiani with the WLAO Torkin Manes Trailblazer Award

On May 8, 2025, at a gala in downtown Toronto, our partner, Kayla Kwinter, on behalf of Torkin Manes, was pleased to present Diana Damiani with this year’s WLAO Torkin Manes Trailblazer Award, which honours a female student who demonstrates outstanding achievements in both business and law. Between her academic excellence in both disciplines, coupled with her savvy business acumen, Diana embodies everything this award was created to celebrate.

In her final year of the joint JD/MBA program at Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business, Diana has combined her legal education with a strong foundation in business strategy and leadership, prioritizing the creation and advancement of the role women play in business and law through various academic and extracurricular initiatives. Her various experiences have inspired her to lead with purpose, uplift others and leverage her skills to support the communities she cares about. Whether in the classroom, in practice or student leadership, she has devoted herself to elevating the voices of women and equity-deserving groups, while building a career grounded in both legal excellence and business impact.

For many years, Torkin Manes has been a proud sponsor of the Women’s Law Association of Ontario, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing issues and causes relevant to women in the legal profession.

Congratulations to Diana and all other 2025 award recipients on their respective outstanding achievements!
