The Ontario Bar Association Honours Marco P. Falco with the 2026 Joel Kuchar Award

Torkin Manes is pleased to announce that our Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner, Marco P. Falco, was honoured this week with the Ontario Bar Association’s prestigious 2026 Joel Kuchar Award for professionalism and civility, which will be presented to him at a gala hosted by the OBA in the spring.

This Award, named after the late Joel Kuchar, recognizes one lawyer in Ontario each year who has consistently demonstrated exemplary commitment to the ideals of the profession and civility in the practice of law.

Exemplifying the highest standards of the Bar, Marco represents all of these important principles, acting as a formidable, yet courteous litigator, as well as a devoted and an unwavering mentor to law students and young lawyers.

This honourable distinction comes on the heels of Marco’s selection as the 2025 recipient of U of T’s Arbor Award, the highest alumni recognition that celebrates his many years of mentorship, teaching and guidance.
