Lisa R. Lifshitz wins the 2026 CAN-TECH Law Award of Distinction

Presented by the Canadian Technology Law Association (CAN-TECH), Canada’s national technology law association, the Award of Distinction recognizes Lisa’s outstanding contributions to the technology law community and her longstanding leadership in the field.
Lisa has made significant contributions to CAN-TECH over many years, having previously served as the President of the association as well as a Director for two terms. She currently serves as Co-Chair of its Privacy & Cybersecurity Committee, a position Lisa has held since 2021.
In addition to her commitment to CAN-TECH, Lisa is widely recognized as a leading lawyer in the technology, privacy and cybersecurity space. Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself not only through her sophisticated legal practice, but also through her commitment to advancing the profession as a prolific author, speaker and thought leader.
This well-deserved recognition reflects Lisa’s exceptional leadership, expertise and ongoing contributions to technology law in Canada and around the world.
