Annie Tayyab Re-Elected President of SABA Toronto’s Board of Directors

Torkin Manes is pleased to announce that our associate, Annie (Qurrat-ul-ain) Tayyab, has been re-elected President of the South Asian Bar Association (SABA) of Toronto’s Board of Directors.
Annie has been an active member of the SABA Toronto Board for many years, serving in a number of leadership roles on the Executive Committee and chairing numerous committees. In her role as President, she will lead an executive team committed to advancing SABA Toronto’s mandate and supporting the interests and professional development of South Asian members of the legal community.
Under Annie’s leadership, SABA Toronto will continue to advocate for the interests of its members and foster meaningful engagement with the Law Society of Ontario and governments at all levels, ensuring that the perspectives and contributions of South Asian legal professionals are recognized and represented.
SABA Toronto continues to experience significant growth and now represents more than 1,600 lawyers across the Greater Toronto Area. Its membership includes legal professionals from large and boutique firms, sole practitioners, government agencies and departments, non-profit organizations, and corporations, as well as members of the judiciary, academics, and law students.
