An associate in the firm’s Private Client Services Group, Nicholas' practice encompasses all manner of trusts and estate planning, where he advises high-net-worth individuals, business owners and families on domestic and cross-border estate planning and administration matters, including the preparation of complex Wills and Powers of Attorney, probate planning techniques, probate applications, estate accounting, and advising estate trustees and beneficiaries on estates involving personal and business assets, foreign property, and charitable bequests.
Nicholas provides legal counsel on multi-jurisdictional estate issues, including U.S. and other foreign law considerations, in coordination with international legal and tax advisors. He also skillfully guides clients through all stages of succession planning and strategies.
To complement his practice, Nicholas is a frequent presenter on various topics about navigating estate planning issues, including conflict of laws, as well as incapacity planning and Medical Assistance in Dying planning.
