A law clerk in the firm’s Construction Group, Hillary primarily focuses on construction law, with emphasis on all phases of construction litigation, from drafting and perfecting liens, and drafting pleadings to preparing materials for hearings, trials, appeals and post judgment enforcement options.
Hillary manages, organizes and reviews documents for complex litigation files for lawyers throughout the discovery process, using e-discovery software. She has experience preparing for matters before all levels of court, including the Federal Court, the Court of Appeal for Ontario and Supreme Court of Canada, and has attended as support for lawyers at discoveries, mediations, trials, arbitrations and case conferences.
