Kayla Oliveira

An
articling student at Torkin Manes, Kayla is a recent graduate of the University
of Windsor, Faculty of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor.
Over
the course of her legal studies, Kayla served as a Teaching Assistant for
Indigenous Legal Orders, was a copy editor for the Canadian Bar Review, and
volunteered as a senior caseworker with the Community Legal Aid clinic, during
which time she attended the Ontario Court of Justice.
Kayla was also the recipient of the Samia Rose Shaheen Memorial Award in Legal Writing and the Brian Etherington Award in Labour Law.
Prior to joining Torkin Manes as an articling student, Kayla summered at a full-service law firm in Mississauga.
